Had a nice encounter with a large (4ft +) female the other day and she
was a star subject.. Here are a couple of images from my time with her.

Great! I can't even imagine one hanging about so obligingly... I found this one, which kept shooting down a hole. So I lay on my belly waiting for it to reappear... turned out quite well; he's checking the air to see if i'm still about!!

Stunning picture of a stunning snake!

I've only just come across this picture though as it's tucked away in the photography thread... perhaps you should post it in the Grass snake section as I'm sure others will have missed it too?
